Praying Otter Seeks Help from Higher Power (PHOTOS)

The mischievous otter was snapped in not one, but two, prayer positions — leading witness to question whether it had turned to higher powers to put fish in its belly.

Dedicated snapper Marac Andrev Kolodzinski was on hand to capture the divine moment.

Proving that patience is indeed a virtue he waited two hours in the freezing cold waiting for the perfect shot to be rewarded when the otter jumped up in the air to catch a stone.

Marac gushed: “The otter was running around cradling a stone under his arm, he was surprised by another otter when he jumped out the water which caused him to jump and throw the stone in the air and he started trying to grab it, when I took the snap.”

The talented snapper’s work has now caught the eye of religious organisations who want to use the photo in publicity campaigns.

“I’ve had lots of religious people call me up, saying that I was a tool doing the Lords work.

“There was a guy from a religious cult that called me once, I think they were from Switzerland but I’m not sure.

“He wanted me to come out to Switzerland and preach to all these people about how I felt, and what I experienced at the time.”

Marac politely declined the offer.
